Bob Table Lamp

The Bob Lamp is made from cast concrete containing recycled glass aggregates, the minimal form and material weight of the Bob Lamp makes it suitable as a table lamp for any situation, compact but resistant to being accidentally knocked over or tugged off an end-table.

Critics of mass produced objects claim that by an object lacking human touch they lack human connection. Objects of the 1980's avant-garde issued this criticism through the use of garish and mismatched materials, pop colors and all-over patterning. Realizing that this same skepticism of mass production exists in the present but has of late been addressed by the handmade, recycled and remaindered goods, we wanted to have our cake and eat it too by producing a pop/patterned but authentic object with an obviously human touch.
